Get more from your INSET Days.

Poor INSET is an opportunity cost. Avoid one-size-fits-all, irrelevant and repetitive content – and cringeworthy team-building exercises.

Instead drive the performance of your school, with focussed coaching and training that is well-designed, aligns with your objectives, and justifies the investment.

“Charlotte forms excellent relationships with her co-facilitator and participants. As a result of this and her wealth of knowledge, the quality of the delivery and participants ability to make connections and apply learning is of a very high standard. Feedback received from participants reflects this and has been consistently strong with many very positive comments”

  • Is evidence-based, with content is drawn from trusted sources
  • Always develops teaching quality and enhances children’s outcomes in the classroom
  • Manages cognitive load focusing on the most relevant content through retrieval practices
  • Motivates staff through prompting relevant action, repeated practice, reflection and reinforcement
  • Creates mental space to use the best evidence to evaluate your practice
  • Aligns with the needs of the school and is supported by school leadership to facilitate successful implementation

There are a number of solutions Transform Your School can deliver to help you maximise the impact of your INSET Days.

Whichever you choose, though taking time to understand the audience and the objectives for the day, the content delivered is targeted to the school, teachers and desired outcomes.

A keynote is a great way to launch an INSET day: to get the team focused on the theme and objectives; buy into the agenda for the day; get people thinking; and anchor the subjects together.

Charlotte Carter-Wall’s extensive background in education and work as a School Standards Adviser for the Department for Education, makes her a fantastic speaker whether simply delivering a keynote, or setting out an INSET programme of other complementary activities that create a consistent theme and objective.
